- The prices on the hotels
and other tourist structures (L.R. 6/4/96) are
freely determinated by each individual operator.
The operators communicate the cost of each
overnight stay in the hotels and the price of any
other sort of accomodation only as an adversiting
information.
- Prices
shown in this site are expressed in thousands of
Italian lire.
- The price
of the room cannot be anymore or less than the
price indicated on the price list, which must be
on display where it can be seen clearly by the
public, in the reception for the guests, and
quoted on the notice in every room and in all the
other service areas.
- Breakfast
(when not included) is optional. Breakfast
prices, as indicated at the reception desk, will
be charged (separately from room prices) provided
that breakfast is expressly requested by
visitors.
- If a room
with two beds is allocated to a single person,
without that person having expressly asked for
such a room, the price for that room may on no
account exceed the maximum price set for rooms
with one bed only.
- In cases
where an extra bed is placed in a room which
already has two beds, no more than 35% of the
normal price of the room may be added on to that
price; in any case, extra beds may only be placed
in rooms of adequate proportions to take them,
and only where the guest specifically asks of
this.
- The
accessibility in hotels to disabled clients is
regulated by the Ministerial Decree (Min. LL.PP.)
of June 14th 1989, n.236.
- The
telephone service is supplied to customers at the
unique cost of traffic plus VAT, according to the
telephone rates in force for calls with
subscriber's meter or by means of booking. The
above can be checked on the telephone book,
however rates should be requested when booking.
- Hotel
keepers' liability regarding theft or damage to
clients personal property is defined by law
(Civil Code, Arts:
1783-1784-1785-1785/bis-1785/ter-1785/quater-1785/quinques-1786).
- Members of
the staff are regularly paid by the management
for the ordinary duties; tips are therefore a
spontaneus and voluntary recompense, at no time
and in no way to be solicited.
- It is
compulsory for hotel-keepers to give their
clients an official receipt for all services
rendered (room, meals, drinks, etc.). To demand
such a receipt is a duty for all customers who,
in this way, comply with strict legal
requirements, avoiding the possibility of heavy
fines, and furthermore are informed of the exact
amounts to be paid.
- Those
tourists who find higher prices than those
published on the list and who do not obtain
sufficient satisfaction from the hotel management
can present a documented cmplaint within 60 days
to the territorial competed Azienda Provinciale
Turismo.
