Archeologico
Situated
inside the Palazzo Comunale, the museum is
organized in three halls devoted to the
exhibition of the materials and includes a small
restoration laboratory for the Supervision of the
first and most urgent interventions on the
findings. There are some funeral vestments of
Terravecchia necropolis, the vestments of the
second tomb are particularly interesting. They
represent among other things, two wonderful Attic
eyes-cups (Kylikes) of the last quarter of the VI
century B.C. A beautiful fragment of a big clay
bust representing Demetra with the polos is
exhibited among the other materials founded in
one of the sacred areas of the Poggio
dell'Aquila.
