In the hall of the Museum there are examples of the Etnean flora and fauna as well as the mineral findings which represent the particular typology of the volcano. You can also admire old lava findings and the so called "bombe vulcanaiche" (volcanic bombs) of Linguaglossa. In the section of birds a wonderful exemple of green woodpecker, that is to be found in the Etnean woods, is exhibited. Near a beautiful collection of flora, is an important mycological collection, where there are the mushrooms that you can find on the slopes of Etna, from the famous and tasty Porcino Edulis to the poisonous Amanita Muscaria.
